Freaner Creative has emerged as a standout winner at the prestigious 2025 Collision Awards, claiming an impressive thirteen awards, including eleven Gold Awards for Excellence in Animation and Motion Design. The annual event, dedicated to celebrating innovation and artistry in animation and motion design across all media, announced its winners today, recognizing top talent from more than 25 countries.
Freaner Creative’s achievement places them among an elite group of global winners that includes household names such as The Daily Show, Buck, Crunchyroll, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Nickelodeon, R/GA, SVA, Partizan Entertainment, Claynosaurz Inc., Laundry, Tmrw Sports Group, Paramount+, and FX Networks. With over 9,000 votes cast in the Collision Audience Choice Awards, this year’s competition was fiercer and more diverse than ever, reflecting the industry’s global reach and influence.
The Collision Awards stands as the only global, holistic platform solely dedicated to honoring excellence in animation and motion design. In its second season, the awards partnered with key industry organizations, including Animation Magazine, Animation Nights New York, Animation World Network, London ACM SIGGRAPH, Motion Plus Design, Skwigly, Stash, FMX, VIEW Conference, and Unreal Engine. Categories spanned Digital Communications, Commercials, Television, Film, Experiential, Games, and XR, with winning work from renowned brands such as ESPN, LinkedIn, McDonald’s, Airbnb, The Olympics, and iconic franchises like Star Trek, Star Wars, Disney, and Hot Ones.
Finalists were chosen by a distinguished jury featuring industry luminaries such as Claire Renton (Animation Director, Ludo), HaZ Dulull (Director, Producer, & Founder HaZimation), Sarah Cox (Executive Creative Director/Aardman), Marla Moore (Creative Director & Head of Strategy, BUCK), Ramsey Naito (President of Animation, Paramount and Nickelodeon Animation), and Jinko Gotoh (Producer, Finding Nemo & The Little Prince).
